In 2007 Brighton Software entered the event and ticketing sector with iPromoter. The first version was designed as a platform for the clubbing industry and was primarily used for selling tickets and sending weekly email newsletters - it rapidly grew into much, much more.
Working closely with key players in the clubbing and wider events industry we expanded the capabilities of iPromoter, adding more innovative features with each new version.
Almost a decade later we still have our finger on the industry’s pulse and continue to add great new features, always striving to make clubbing and events organisers’ lives easier.

iPromoter is much more than a ticketing platform. It’s a powerful, full events promotion and management solution. The biggest priority for club owners and events organisers when selecting a promotion platform is how they can reach out to both their existing customers and to new target markets. It keeps the information from event listings, previous promotions and all other sales information in one place, enabling you to track everything quickly and comprehensively. It also has sophisticated tracking tools built in so you can see how well your email newsletters and marketing campaigns are doing.
Social Media is becoming one of the most important marketing tools for the events and clubbing industry, but with hundreds of sites appearing every year, reaching out socially can be a minefield. This has left many people in the industry in the dark, not only about what they should be doing, but also on how they can manage everything.
iPromoter has it covered. From Facebook to Twitter, iPromoter is ahead of the game. With Facebook for example, you can sign up the customer through their Facebook account, which not only means you receive valuable extra information such as their date of birth, age and location, but you also get to market your events to their friends too. Social Media is powerful - and with iPromoter you can take full advantage of that power.
Another headache for Nightclub and Event organisers is managing their sub promoters. Do they have the latest information? How many people do they actually bring to the door? How much did each person pay for their ticket? How much revenue is each sub promoter generating and how much commission have they earned?

Each of your sub promoters has their own login area where they can set up campaigns, track signups & sales and even send emails directly to their own user base. Spotting both good practises and bad enables you to offer advice, coaching and management at the right time. Whether your subs are dealing with 10 customers or 10,000 you are in full control.
The latest addition to iPromoter is a full trigger-based marketing capability. If you’re familiar with IFTTT you’ll already know how powerful this is, but basically it’s a system whereby whenever a pre-selected event happens, you can create a corresponding action. This is a truly powerful marketing tool and enables you to develop some very effective sales strategies.
For example, if one of your marketing targets clicks a link, looks at an event and then leaves the site without making a booking, you can set a trigger so that in 24 hours they get sent an email with an exclusive discount offer. It’s what’s known as remarketing and when used properly it’s like having your own private sales army, working for free behind the scenes, 24 hours a day.
And trust us, iPromoter does trigger based remarketing really, really well.

Club Guestlist is one of the many sites that was built specifically to sit on and use the iPromoter Software platform. By doing so it is able to take full advantage of every one of the great features iPromoter provides. It seamlessly takes bookings, quickly adds and promotes new events and manages guestlists and ticketing for events throughout the UK
It also serves as a great example of what can be achieved when you combine bespoke, ground up website development, great graphics and a powerful backend management platform like iPromoter.
Although Brighton Software handled everything for this site, including the web design and graphics, web design is not something we typically provide. You can rest assured though, that however complex your site is, we provide full integration services with iPromoter.
